Sunbury Antiques – Kempton Park

Ever wonder where all the boutiques in London get all the unique bric a brac from for installations, or even for sale?  Or where you need to go to to source those vintage chairs?  In Paris, it’s the famous “Les Puces” but in London, it’s the Sunbury Antiques Market at Kempton Park.

Not for the faint hearted, we rose at 4 am in order to get across town from Hackney to the famous race course for a 6:30am start.  This is a car boot for professionals, trade mostly, so it is on a Tuesday, not a leisurely weekend affair!  Hundreds of Stalls, antiques of all varieties.  Here are a few pics of pieces that were interesting.  We were looking for a specific piece for a unique project, and sadly we didn’t find it this week.
